14 years ago in AADC movie, we are introduced to the characters distinctive considered to represent the composition of the high school association in Jakarta at the time. Cinta (Dian Sastrowardoyo), which with a confident personality become the cornerstone among friendship. Then there Milly (Sissy Prescillia) that is plain, Maura (Titi Kamal) coquettish, Karmen (Adinia Wirasti) masculinity, then there Alya (Ladya Cheryl) fragile. Plus there Mamet (Dennis Adishwara) geeky, and Rangga (Nicholas Saputra), reserved and cynical figure of literary enthusiast who later captured the hearts of Love.

AADC 2 panned back these characters when entering their 30s-but Alya is not shown because it failed to join the cast. As changes in the characters, no wonder if the story of AADC 2 rolled out in different ways as well. It's no longer a matter of choice between friend or girlfriend, or the popular competition with the loner-issues that might be considered as severe high school. As it should be, the issues raised AADC 2 so much depth, that the choice between dwell in the past or step into what is called life established.

b. The story

The story begins with Cinta reassemble her friends in high school, Milly, Maura, and Karmen for holiday together to Yogyakarta. 'Geng Cinta' is like wanting to revive their joy in the past, before they resume the life and problems facing each of the past now.

However, not all of it pleasant nostalgia. At the same time is also shown in figure Rangga , Cinta is still remembered in his heart. In fact, Rangga are known to have stayed in New York, it was not with Cinta again, because their relationship had run aground in the middle of the road in a way that the incomplete. Hence, the sudden appearance Rangga in Yogyakarta create inner turmoil Cinta and friends, let alone love already planning a wedding with another man.

Supported by the performance of the players who do not just repeat the role, and not completely changed, but bring their old characters in the version that has matured. However, their characteristics are present in a more mature level and has depth. The existence of several new characters is quite keep up and function properly although not prominent.

When the main attraction of this film rests on his character, on the other hand the film looks not force it to display various gimmicks that have the same effect as the first film. Indeed, the film featured poetry, music scene, until the songs of the soundtrack, but in the end it is not as prominent or se-memorable first film. d. The camera work.

The film also shows the beauty of the many outstanding Indonesia. Like when Cinta and Rangga met in one of the historic sites in Yogyakarta seen many historic stones is also a beautiful natural landscape. The audience was also spoiled by the images in the set so natural, so there is no element in the make-up. Overall this film is taking the beauty of the charm of Indonesia especially jogjakarta

I think this movie is really nice but not easy to say the film is better or not than the first, because both take the approach and packaged in different ways. Rather it is also hard to assess whether the film will be successful for those who have not watched the first AADC, considering the AADC character building 2 is pretty much dependent on the film. But, certainly AADC 2 so a sequel that is capable of treating brand AADC with decent, mature, and do not betray the closeness that has been built with the audience, maybe even more close it.
